A visit to the 2022 Chattanooga Motorcar Festival

In 2019 the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee started a concourse style automotive event. This years festival was held on October the 14th to the 16th. Vinmotive was able to attend on Friday and we spent our time at the Bend race track.

We found our way to the paddocks and were treated to multiple pre World War 2 race cars.

This full fendered Mercer had Corky Coker of Coker Tires behind the wheel during practice and qualifying.

This replica of the 1911 Indy 500 winning #32 Marmon Wasp, was a dead ringer for the one driven by Ray Harroun

A beautiful Lozier, had one of the cleanest engines of any car at the event.

This Nyberg was produce by the Nyberg Automobile Works of Anderson, Indiana at their short lived Chattanooga, TN plant.

The details made all the difference on this very clean Inter-State racer.

While their wasn’t much to this Chalmers Detroit, it was one of the most original looking cars in attendance.

Since it’s very beginning, the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival has been one of the best shows in the Southeastern U.S, With great weather, good food and an inviting atmosphere, the CMCF is a great way for car people to experience concourse style events for the first time. Vinmotive is looking forward to next years fun.
